Mental Health Counseling for Adults
Sherwood Counseling Center provides outpatient mental health counseling services for adults ages 18 and up. We specialize in assisting adults who may be struggling with life transitions such as having a child, career changes, loss of relationships, moving to a new place, losing a loved one, and more.
If you feel angry about things that used to make you laugh, feel lonely despite being surrounded by friends, or constantly worry about uncontrollable things, please reach out for assistance.
As “grown-ups,” we often think that asking for help shows weakness and we prefer to handle everything ourselves. Some of us care for others without considering our own needs, leading to exhaustion, depression and resentfulness.
Sometimes, it’s helpful to remember Rodney Dangerfield's advice: “Look out for number one and try not to step in number two.”
